There are markers for locations of power plants, internet exchanges, and HUPFIs (Historically-Underserved Population-Focused Institutions. These are institutions of higher learning that focus on serving historically underserved populations, and include historically black colleges & universities, minority-serving institutions, tribal colleges & universities, and Asian & Pacific Islander serving universities.

The yellow highlighted areas are counties that have been designated Opportunity Zones, and are eligible for various development incentives by federal agencies like HUD.
