Eight Startups Selected for Launch Alaska Portfolio

Launch Alaska just added eight new companies to its portfolio of energy and technology startups — and we're proud to be part of the community they're building.
Greensparc is a Launch Alaska portfolio company. Our modular data center at Cordova Electric Cooperative's Humpback Creek Hydro facility is cited in this month's feature as an example of what deployment in Alaska actually looks like: real infrastructure, running on local hydropower, in a community that needed it.
The new cohort spans hydropower, nuclear, grid infrastructure, and workforce services — exactly the kind of diversified energy innovation Alaska needs. We're especially glad to see Remote Hands in the mix, a workforce platform placing vetted technicians in rural communities. That's the kind of complementary infrastructure that makes projects like ours viable long-term.
